Our Team
Roy Watters
Founder
As a young child I began playing with locks and discovered I had a talent for springing locks. My father, who was a machinist and engineer, was my teacher. Thriving on education and taking an interest in mechanical marvels, my work experience further enhanced my skills to crack safes and vaults. Worked at the CMU Physics department; taught machining at the local Community College; and was employed at the University of Pittsburgh Chemistry department making prototypes for students and professors. In addition to my “day jobs”, I’ve spent a lifetime enjoying opening safes and vaults.
Adam Watters
Adam grew up in the safe and lock business working with his father Roy. He has specialized in safe restoring and reconditioning as well as safe moving and rigging and vault building and removal. He is devoted to Watters Safe and Lock so that he can pass it onto his son in the future for the third generation of Watters in the family business.
